This is actually one of the cheaper lenses that you can buy \u2013 for the new RF mount \u2013 and you can get one for around 500 dollar so that\u2019s actually not that much for such a great prime lens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u25cf RF 35mm :&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2zUs4xa\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/amzn.to\/2zUs4xa<\/a>&nbsp;*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A1763-819x1024-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A1763-819x1024-1.jpeg 819w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A1763-819x1024-1-240x300.jpeg 240w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A1763-819x1024-1-768x960.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I need to say that in 99.9% I always use this lens whenever I want to take a couple of close ups because it is a macro lens and I can get really close to my key element without having any focusing problems. So especially if you want to take these close ups I highly recommend to actually buy a macro lens because a lens like this one here makes it so much easier to get the shots.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On top this lens is a f1.8 lens so you always have an advantage in low light situations because it let\u2019s a ton of light in and on top you can get a crazy good looking bokeh which is always awesome especially if you take macro photos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course in this case you need to care about how much of your key element is actually in focus \u2013 if you use f1.8 \u2013 but just to have this option is so great especially if you are let\u2019s say in a forest for example and you don\u2019t have that much light that you can use. In this case f1.8 is so great because you don\u2019t have to push your ISO settings a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-84\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2B7A2294-2048x1152.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course we need to talk about the auto focus. And yes the auto focus is super fast but it\u2019s loud. So especially if you need to be really quiet that can be a problem but in all kind of other situations it\u2019s just great. I never had any problems to get the shot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I know this BLOG-Post is about photography but let\u2019s quickly talk about video. Currently I always use the Rf 35mm 1.8 to record my videos. But now you\u2019ll say \u201cWait, if the auto focus is loud you will have issues if you want to record audio!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And here I can say: No. The Auto-Focus motor actually slows down a little bit&nbsp;so you won\u2019t have any problems to record audio and in my opinion the auto focus is still awesome and fast. I already used this lens for a lot of video projects so it\u2019s not a problem to record stunning videos with this lens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another reason why I really like the 35mm 1.8 is that it\u2019s small and light. So especially if you travel a lot you actually won\u2019t notice this lens in your bag pack or while taking some photos and thats a huge advantage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A0041-1024x1024-1-1024x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A0041-1024x1024-1.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A0041-1024x1024-1-300x300.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A0041-1024x1024-1-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/blackcorecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/CS4A0041-1024x1024-1-768x768.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But what\u2019s about the image quality. Well the image quality is just amazing. I already had a lot of photography sessions with this lens and the image quality was always top notch. I\u2019ll link my latest POV session so if you are interested in that definitely check that out. But if we take a look at a couple of results you\u2019ll see that it\u2019s absolutely worth it. And don\u2019t forget here we are talking about an entry level lens for the Rf mount. I mean sure 500 dollar is a lot of money but compared to some other Rf lenses that is super cheap.
